Instor Solutions, Inc. today named Darrell Reynolds Senior Director of Implementation Services. Reynolds, a veteran of the data center industry, brings deep experience working in telecom, logistics and data center infrastructure.

Spending much of his career in low-voltage design and data center migration, Reynolds served as General Manager of a Texas-based tech company before joining Instor. In his time at Instor, Reynolds has worked on several high-profile projects, including a 2MW buildout for a European marketing agency and a major closet remediation project for the University of San Francisco. With his transition to this role, Reynolds brings equipment-level infrastructure design, deployment and migration services to Instor’s ever-expanding roster of data center infrastructure services.

A St. Louis native, Reynolds attended Jefferson College before joining the United States Air Force where he studied electronics. During the early-’90s telecom boom, he moved to Texas, where he remains based today.

Reynolds role will see him helping Instor’s clients make a successful transition between facilities while keeping costs and downtime exposure at a minimum. He’ll also assist clients as they move into colocation facilities or new enterprise data centers, dealing with each detail from structured cabling to future-proofing the space and allowing for future expansion. His experience in corporate office relocation, coupled with his low-voltage experience, brings a unique skill set to all of Instor’s transition-based projects. Detail-oriented, Reynolds also excels in helping clients see the big picture when it comes to the physical side of data center infrastructure.

Instor President Jack Vonich said, “Darrell is an amazing guy with vast data center infrastructure experience. We’re extremely excited to have him on board as Instor expands its services further into complex infrastructure design and mission critical transitions.”
